Travel theme: Mellow

Tomorrow (August 15th) is National Relaxation Day so I’m getting a head start on things by keeping it mellow for this week’s travel theme. First up, a pair of chilled out anglers taking it easy on a river near Salmon la Sac in Washington.

These snoozing horses in Skagit Valley have definitely got a handle on how to keep things mellow.

New Yorkers take some time out in the height of summer to slow things down with a little yoga on the solstice in Times Square.

I climbed a castle wall in Czesky Krumlov, abseiled down cliffs to go caving in the west of Ireland, slept on the beach in Paros, got chased by a swarm of bees in Vourvourou (ok that wasn’t fun, but it was exciting), learned flower arranging in Tokyo, found myself in the middle of a riot in Seoul, learned to snowboard in Salzburg, got lost in a labyrinth in Budapest and had my ice cream stolen by a gull in Cornwall. And I’m just getting started.       Oh Cee, I could almost smell the salt air in that shot from Lincoln City, the Oregon Coast has got to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet. xxx
