It just won’t stop raining and I’m beginning to reach maximum saturation. In an attempt to manipulate the weather gods, I’m channeling all things dry for this week’s travel theme. First up, the dry and dusty Mojave Desert.
My favourite time of year in any Piet Oudolf designed garden is winter, after all the leaves have gone and all that is left are the architectural elements, like this flurry of dried seed heads in New York’s Battery Park.

I can’t resist leaving you with one more shot from Battery Park during winter, It really is the most beautiful place to wander through on a cold winter’s day.
