This part of the world is decked in heavy frost which catches the light, glittering and sparkling as you walk by. So this week’s theme is dedicated to everything that shimmers. It is also dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Brezina from windagainstcurrent.com who made the world shimmer brighter when he was in it. First up, a shimmering Fasching mask in Aachen.

What a lovely tribute! I will not be contributing (yet) but have made a commitment tonight to continue photography in Vlad’s memory, with the help of a friend who has agreed to coach me. I love all of these, but the museum of glass most of all.
