Travel theme: Move

My travel-loving soul has been yearning to hit the road for quite a while now, but as I am stuck in one place for just a little while longer, I am easing my Wanderlust by making great plans and leafing through my travel shots for photos filled with movement, like this little bird just launching into flight in a Manhattan park.

Rush hour traffic moving ever so slowly across Dublin‘s Beckett Bridge.

The horse tunnels of Camden Market, filled with exquisite cantering, galloping bronzes.

Along the shores on Long Island, I spent hours trying to capture that perfect moment just before a wave breaks. It’s almost like the ocean holding its breath ever so slightly, waiting to exhale.

About ailsapm

Hi there! I’m Ailsa Prideaux-Mooney. I’ve lived in many places, and travelled to many more. I had a lot of fun getting there and being there, wherever there happened to be at the time. I climbed a castle wall in Czesky Krumlov, abseiled down cliffs to go caving in the west of Ireland, slept on the beach in Paros, got chased by a swarm of bees in Vourvourou (ok that wasn’t fun, but it was exciting), learned flower arranging in Tokyo, found myself in the middle of a riot in Seoul, learned to snowboard in Salzburg, got lost in a labyrinth in Budapest and had my ice cream stolen by a gull in Cornwall. And I’m just getting started. If you’ve enjoyed what you’ve read so far, I’d love you to follow my travelogue - wheresmybackpack.com - and remember, anyone who tries to tell you it’s a small world hasn’t tried to see it all.

You have such an interesting combination of photos–the bird shot and horse tunnel are wonderful and the others add such variety. I don’t see my link above although it seems to work from my end, so I’ll send it again. I’ve been having terrible problems getting posted for the past two days. Hope this one works. thanks for the fun prompt! http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/09/23/moving-right-along-travel-theme-move/
