Well, seeing as last week’s theme was Words, I thought I’d balance things out with a more numerical theme this week, starting off with one of my favourite iconic road trips, the one and only Route 66.
Dublin’s renowned swimming spot, the Forty Foot, immortalised in James Joyce’s Ulysses, and the place where I welcomed in the New Year by taking a plunge in ice-cold water.
The most romantic of meeting spots, under the clock at Grand Central Terminal.
Farina Haus in Cologne, Germany, which has been producing the original Eau de Cologne since 1709.
