About

Hi there! I’m Ailsa Prideaux-Mooney. I’ve lived in many places, and travelled to many more. I had a lot of fun getting there and being there, wherever there happened to be at the time. I climbed a castle wall in Czesky Krumlov, abseiled down cliffs to go caving in the west of Ireland, slept on the beach in Paros, got chased by a swarm of bees in Vourvourou (ok that wasn’t fun, but it was exciting), learned flower arranging in Tokyo, found myself in the middle of a riot in Seoul, learned to snowboard in Salzburg, got lost in a labyrinth in Budapest and had my ice cream stolen by a gull in Cornwall.

And I’m just getting started.

If you’ve enjoyed what you’ve read so far, I’d love you to follow my travelogue.                   Remember, anyone who tries to tell you it’s a small world hasn’t tried to see it all.

good to have come across your blog! look forward to seeing more 🙂

  4. Hi Ailsa. Your photos are lovely and the prose is even better (if that’s possible!). I will be following – not just because I love what I see, but because I see so many similarities to what my husband and I are doing. My primary blog is bushrangerridesagain which is a chronicle of our attempt to see the eastern North American continent by boat (although the boat we pick is balking at the mission – she is still without an engine after a year). So, we are still enjoying the scenery in northern Mississippi….I will need to live vicariously through you…

Hurray, thank you so much, Sara. I have to ask – you blanked George Clooney 3 times in 48 hours? I HAVE to know more!

      • Sara says:

ehrm… yeah, well… a friend of mine had a little role in one of his film (Ocean’s Twelve) so I was visiting my friend. No offense to Mr Clooney, of course, but I was a bit distracted. I suppose I must have missed other big names in those 2 days. I remember Julia Roberts waved hello from afar. Now, I am sure she must have mistaken me for someone else, because we’ve never been introduced LOL oh, the funny things that happen on movie sets 😉

  12. Kalizamar says:

I write mainly travel articles too and also post poems from people around the world. Would you like to send me one too? Any theme, as long as it’s written with love…
