I rounded the corner in a local grocery store yesterday and was a little shocked to see shelves and shelves of Christmas chocolate. I mean, we’re not even halfway through September yet. Their truffle sprouts gave me a giggle though…
…so I forgave them and went looking for other sugar-coated photos from my travels, like this Boston Cream Pie in the place it was first imagined, Parker House in Boston.
More natural sources of sugar, dazzling berries at a California farmer’s market…
…zesty oranges in Rome…
…and glorious pomegranates in Turkey.
And last but not least, sugar cane itself along the roadside in Guatemala.
Are you ready to give me some sugar? 😉 If you would like to join in this week’s travel theme (everyone’s welcome!) here’s what to do:

Mmmm.. don’t know if I should should just not pass this one by? 😉 My bitter tooth can’t stomach the sight of all that diabetic delight! 🙂
Vossie I find it hard to believe you have a bitter bone in your body, I suspect you are pure sugar. 🙂
I wish!! The T2D got the better of me but hey… leaving the sugar behind and look-see, no more T2D!
PS – So, I’ve become a bit of an anti sugar preacher! Sorry to spoil the party!! 😉 😀 😉
