All around me friends are struggling to find a healthy work-life balance, while the planet is wobbling ever further out of balance at an alarming rate. So, to restore a semblance of balance into somewhat precarious times, here are a few zen-like, restorative photos to calm things down. First up, a rather talented yoga practitioner at a mass group yoga session in Times Square for the Summer Solstice. Nice one, New York.
Learning to walk the tightrope at May Day celebrations in Seattle.
Channeling animals with Tai Chi at the Chinese New Year celebrations in Dublin’s Temple Bar.
Perfectly balanced tops on fairy chimneys in Cappadocia.
I hope he doesn’t lose his balance. I don’t fancy a face full of squirrel, thanks.

Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving. – Albert Einstein
The hungry world cannot be fed until and unless the growth of its resources and the growth of its population come into balance. Each man and woman – and each nation – must make decisions of conscience and policy in the face of this great problem. – Lyndon B. Johnson
The delicate balance between modesty and conceit is popularity. – Max Beerbohm
I fear the scales are tipping… I don’t know in who’s favour?? 😉

Good one, Julz, hats off to Rochelle for managing to hold that pose! 🙂

I am staring at that yoga practitioner in absolute awe, Ailsa. Such balance and control. The girl on the tightrope is adorable, as is the squirrel. Tai Chi is all about balance too, so excellent choices, dear.

Great theme, we certainly need more balance in this world. As I watched these identical twins perform it was like looking in a mirror they were so balanced. https://memoriesaremadeofthisblog.wordpress.com/2016/04/09/travel-theme-balance/
