I’ve been having a wild time recently, taking road trips with friends around the Pacific Northwest, exploring some of the stunning scenery to be found here. Without giving away too much before I write about my adventures, here are a few teaser photos. I’ve encountered some wild weather…
and some wonderful wildlife…
and walked through fields of wildflowers…
and even encountered wildlife walking through fields of wildflowers.
So let your imagination run wild and come up with your own interpretation of this week’s travel theme. Everyone’s welcome to join in. Here’s what to do:
- Create your own post and title it Travel theme: Wild
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Get your post in by next Thursday, as the new travel theme comes out on Friday
- Don’t forget to subscribe to keep up to date on the latest weekly travel themes. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS – I’m in the process of changing over to a new website host but will give you all a heads up when the changeover happens. If you’re following via email there won’t be a change but if you’re following via WordPress you will need to sign up for email or RSS.
Take a walk on the wild side.

Love your pics! My “wild” pictures are a bit artifical – some sort of art… http://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2013/08/08/travel-theme-wild/

Hi Ailsa, those are gorgeous photos!

You encountered some pretty wild weather, Ailsa, in your travels, and I love those fields of wildflowers, especially that first photo. I’m a little late participating this week, but i hope to be more on the ball next week (tomorrow, I guess!). Here’s mine, just under the wire: http://catbirdineurope.wordpress.com/2013/08/09/travel-theme-wild/
