No matter where you go, there’s always something for sale somewhere. The items on display in local stores are often evocative of the flavours and aesthetics of the culture you’re in and make for really interesting photographs. Here are some examples of displays I have photographed around and about.
Incidentally, if you find yourself in an unfamiliar place and don’t have a guide book handy, postcard stands are a great resource, as they usually feature the unmissable sights of the place you’re in (and maybe give you a few ideas as to how best to photograph them!)
Now over to you. If you’d like to join in, here’s what to do:
- Create your own post featuring items on display and title it Travel Theme: On Display
- Get your post in by next Thursday, as the new travel theme comes out on Friday
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Don’t forget to subscribe to keep up to date on the latest weekly travel themes
Looking forward to the displays you have in store for me!
xxx
Ailsa

Well…better late than never…This is a wonderful theme – but so difficult to choose what to add! I could have – and I guess many of us could have – added many more funny, beautiful, strange, enigmatic and wonderful pictures here. But, these were my choices.
