Looking down at the boat spray dancing before a glassy lake and a hulking volcano whilst crossing Lake Atitlan. Makes me want to drop everything and go back there now.

love the splash! great photo, really 🙂
Thanks Janis – it was pure accident, really. I was taking photos of the glassy lake and then the boat bobbed and I caught some spray in the bottom of the frame. After that, I couldn’t stop snapping pictures until I got the perfect splash. This was it. 🙂
Wow this is beautiful!
Thanks Gilly, it’s such a beautiful place. Hope you get to visit, if you haven’t already.
Love Lake Atitlan one of my favorite spots in the Motherland…but Antigua is my all time 😉 Good photo
I was in Antigua too, beautiful town with all those cobblestone streets – here’s my post about it: https://wheresmybackpack.wordpress.com/2011/12/06/la-antigua/ I think my favourite, though, was Tikal, all those wonderful animals and ancient ruins.
great: the boat spray dancing before!
Beautiful place. You captured the boat spray so beautifully. Great work.
Thanks so much, Arindam. x
