I’ve been road-tripping at the height of monsoon season and have weathered quite a few storms along the way. But one of the advantages of storms is the possibility of a rainbow when the sun finally breaks through. I’ve experienced more than my fair share of rainbows on this trip; here’s one over some wild west terrain in Utah.
And another over Yellowstone National Park.
Sticking with the multicoloured theme, check out the spray-painted motors at the Cadillac Ranch in Texas.
Here are some cheery looking motels along Route 66 in Amarillo, Texas.
And finally, a multicoloured and rather spooky-looking landscape at Mammoth Hot Springs in Wyoming.
Get your multicoloured photos at the ready because now it’s your turn to unleash a rainbow. If you would like to join in this week’s travel theme (everyone’s welcome!) here’s what to do:
- Create your own post and title it Travel theme: Multicoloured
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Get your post in by next Thursday, as the new travel theme comes out on Friday
- Don’t forget to subscribe to keep up to date on the latest weekly travel themes. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS – I’m in the process of changing over to a new website host but will give you all a heads up when the changeover happens. If you’re following via email there won’t be a change but if you’re following via WordPress you will need to sign up for email or RSS.
Looking forward to seeing your kaleidoscopes of colour.
